Just went in for my first complimentary maintenance visit for my truck. I had a 9:30 am time appointment that was made online 10 days prior. When I arrived at the service area, there were several cars and trucks waiting in line also.I waited 10 minutes and finally some of the vehicles started moving, so I pulled my truck in to the service area. The service advisor was very friendly and had all the info needed and said he would come and get me when the job was finished. (I had signed up for wait since usually for an oil change and tire rotation about an hour is normal which I dont mind.) After I was seated in the lounge the service advisor came to me and said there was a recall and they would take care of it while I was there, which I said that was fine.(However I was never informed about any recall by either mail or on myChevrolet app or gm.com). So I waited ,and waited, and finally at 11:50 am the advisor came and said I was ready to go. He handed me the paperwork and also on my phone the details of the work performed was detailed. Everything looked good and it said the recall was taken care of.So after 2 1/2 hours I was ready to go. Great, now I should be set untill the next oil change. Well at about 2:00pm the advisor calls me and said the recall did not go through to GM? I looked at the paperwork and the recall was something to do with a fuel injector flow and I thought that was taken care of while I waited. The advisor said they would have to do something again and send it back to GM? I don't quite understand 😕. He said I could make another appointment or get it done next oil change? My questions are these: 1) Is my truck ok to drive currently? 2 )On GM.com and myChevrolet app it said nothing about any recall, and now also says there are currently no recalls on my truck.

The service attendant and cashiers were wonderful! The attention to my vehicle was not. After my oil change there was no paper mat. There were oil stains on the carpet, mat, and interior including oil on gas and break pedals.

I was kept informed as to the progress of the work to be completed. I would probably have been in and out 2 hours sooner if the part had been in stock luckily Megan was able to get the part from another dealer Megan handle the whole thing like an expert. I would score Megan 100%
